Family, friends and the weather all came together to help us celebrate the induction new members to Sigma Theta Tau, Delta Upsilon Chapter on December 3, 2006. The event started with a delicious brunch, then viewing of a presentation by Lynne Dunphy, PhD, APRN, BC, the Routhier Endowed Chair for Practice from URI with a slide show presentation called “ The Heart of Nursing: Caring... Then and Now".
The recipients of scholarships and research awards were recognized.
The induction ceremony, coordinated by the faculty counselors, M. Patricia Quigley and Patricia Stout, was completed with 97 undergraduate, graduate and nurse leaders inducted. Each of the inductees was presented with a rose.
